The HOBO UX120-006M Analog Data Logger is a high-performance, LCD display data logger for building performance monitoring applications. The data logger is ideal for energy audits, building commissioning studies, equipment scheduling, and more.
Collecting data over an extended period of time is essential for tracking current performance of a building, space, or system to identify trends or anomalies. Data logging minimizes the need for operator involvement or interference. Some loggers can take readings for more than a year while others can even transmit logged data wirelessly, removing the need for regular physical data retrieval. IDL has various casings to allow logging in outdoor, wet, and extreme conditions.
Measure temperature in air, water, or soil with the 6.1m (20 ft) TMC20-HD temperature sensor. This product is designed to be used with HOBO U-Series, UX120-006M external-channel data loggers or ZW series wireless datanodes. This sensor records temperatures between -40° and 50°C (-40° to 122°F) in water or soil, and between -40° and 100°C (-40° to 212°F) in air. This product provides a response time of minutes typical to 90% in air moving 1 m/sec (2.2 mph); and 1 minute typical to 90% response time in stirred water.
The HOBO UX100-014M Single Channel Thermocouple data logger records temperature in indoor environments with thermocouple sensors (sold separately). Designed for a broad range of monitoring applications – from industrial process monitoring to concrete maturity testing – the logger provides exceptional flexibility by accepting J, K, T, E, R, S, B or N type thermocouple probes.
The 12-bit FlexSmart Analog Input Module for use with the H22-001 Energy Logger handles two single-ended input channels with user-configurable ranges of 0 to 20mA DC or 0 to 20 V DC which is suitable for 2.5-, 5-, and 10-volt sensors. Field wiring is 2- or 3-wire via screw terminals.

These meters may also be used to obtain direct air flow readings with an 8400 FlowHood Kit. Any meter can be upgraded to a model with greater capabilities whenever needed.
The 12-bit Temperature/RH Smart Sensor is designed to work with all Onset data loggers that accept Smart Sensors. All sensor parameters are stored inside the Smart Sensor, which automatically communicates configuration data information to the logger without any programming, calibration, or extensive user setup.

The TOUs record the time to the second that a device turns on, and then again when it turns off. The data saved to the logger’s memory is a series of on-off transitions and time stamps.
